First time on this channel and i'll just say the green screen to show closeups of the cards in real time is GENIUS!

Cubitos might be my favourite racing game still. I played Heat when it came out and I enjoyed the first game so we played it again right after. And then I stopped liking it. In Heat, you are only controlling the speed. I also want to be able to control the direction in a racing game. Quest for El Dorado does this well, but the upgrading and push your luck and controlling your movement whole package in Cubitos is beautiful.

Love Cubitos still. I dont think i have won yet because i always focus too much on getting more dice....

When you discussed the crocodile I believe if you place an animal in a special enclosure such as a reptile house you can ignore the water requirement.

Good review. Fun family-weight game that is surprisingly thematic. The simultaneous selection works well, with a little deduction and bluffing, fantastic graphic design and production quality.

AFAIK, when you have no troops in the conflict, your strength is automatically 0, regardless of your number of swords. Am I right?

Add Morophon the Boundless to reduce the cost of your assassins to one black mana with Ezio’s ability if you successfully deal damage to your opponents with Ezio or another Assassin.

I just played this game over the past weekend with some friends and the first setup and go around took ENTIRELY too long. Once we got chugging along after the 2nd event phase into the 3rd movement phase it was absolutely brilliant. It was like Dead Space with 3 other friends on the base; I ended up escaping thinking that I had "won" but I did not meet the final criteria after all other players had died. 8/10 would probably play again but agree that its pretty bloated and could be scaled down and be a lot more fun.

I bought this deck when it came out and didn’t play it much so it ended up collecting some dust. I decided to take it out of hibernation and upgrade it and this video made me even more excited for my upgrades to arrive. Great video! I would love to see what MH3 cards you decide to add into the deck.

Thank you guys for the overview. I'm going to reflect on something now, and I hope that you'll reconsider your approach.. Please accept my sincere apology in advance. I've no intention to hurt anyone. The opposite is true. I chose to put in the time and effort to write it down only because IMhO your channel has much more potential than it currently manages to achieve. Please read the following with an open mid: 15:30 - You were saying that you cannot rate 8 both Cold Express and The Witcher, so instead... (and here's the reflection) - you are going into a "discussion" of which you will play at 3 players: Dune Imperium, Ark Nova, The Witcher, Ancient Society, etc. But.. but.. but.. THOSE ARE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT GAMES!!! Do you realize how you contradict yourself with this approach?? Not only that you ended up comparing between different games from a prisma of player count, instead of a straightforward simple numerical conclusion, you turn into an exhausting and tedious discussion around irrational comparisons. Why not simply compare the topic game (if you must) with games which are mechanically alike? Or here's a better idea: Why not defining a scale of factors which you all agree of (fun factor, interaction, length, theme, mechanics, experience) and just score the game?? As simple as that..(!) The comparison you ended up with only in order to avoid the rating comparison is.. excuse me.. for the least.. ridiculous. 3 players can feel like they want this game at this moment, and a day after another game. What has been crossing your minds when you agreed upon this method, rather than a scoring method which doesn't potentially include so many conflicts with your viewers? Currently, you just, at least potentially, make people feel even more disagreements because each and every title you compare your topic game with might creates another conflict. And why? And for what? To avoid the same scoring for games from different genres? But that is obvious! That's clear! No one will ever think that Cold Express and The Witcher are providing the same experience! No! That not even the effect or the consequences of sharing the same scoring! Not at all... The Witcher can be 8 for simply what it is! An adventure, deck building, dice chucking, race game, with not a lot of interaction, while Cold Express can be 8 for an easy, breezy, neat filler with a lot of user interaction, or whatever... I just cannot believe that none of you guys took a stand and say: "Listen... There's something so twisted and lack of sense with our current approach of comparing totally different games as those which we prefer to play in ANY given time, while life is so dynamic, and the game that we feel like playing today is not the game that we would feel like playing tomorrow". (edited) Hum, excuse me but I don't believe you are using the Trade Action correctly in this playthrough. Ah, now I get it ‘Kratak Fearsome Accounting’. allows three trades, Excuse me I was radio listening to most of the first turn and missed this company was in play. All the best.

I built but not yet tested this deck. I didn’t get all the ACR cards, but I got the ones I felt would work best. I also went with Gates as a mana base and the usual suspects with land tutors and such. Wasn’t going to build it but pulling Ezio and Cover of Darkness pretty much told me this was the way. -Didn’t include Edward Kenway because I didn’t lean heavy into Pirates, although I think many Admiral Beckett Brass players may trade up to Edward -Didn’t include Connor because I couldn’t get him, and honestly my deck doesn’t lean heavy into equipment. -Just gonna say for everyone looking at this deck wanting to build it, if you like Ezio Blade of Vengeance, Achilles Davenport, and Rooftop Bypass, all of them are included in the Starter deck along with many ACR cards you would want in the deck too and if you get them from LGS, typically you can find them for $20 which will save you 8-12 bucks if you were to merely buy the singles.

First of all, I agree with you I think they put away too many sets in one year I remember they used to only have like three sets maybe a command box or something like that but now it’s crazy. I like the variety and all that stuff but come on People want to get extras of something so that way in the future we can make multiple decks. we can also use multiple formats but no they want every two months a new set and then we’re going to completely skip the sets. It’s like they want us to get at least two boxes every set.

Building 2 different decks. One is an Etrata led assassin tribal deck. The other is a mono black "5 color" Ezio led deck that will use Roshan and Maskwood Nexus to make everything an assassin and play big nasty creatures for BB

I, too, do not like shapeshifters! Flavor is the way! I dig these kind of decks and I favor them over more fine tuned decks even if I have the cards in my possession to do it. Please do more of these!

Great video! I did something similar with LotR making a Sauron deck and a fellowship Aragorn deck. (Speaking of flavor… whenever someone put Gandalf in a Sauron deck it makes me cry on the inside 😂) I love AC, so I’ve been waiting for this set since it was announced. I went more with including commander staples. One noticeable difference with mine is I did include a couple cards from outlaws of thunder junction. Vraska joins up is great as so many of our creatures have it can have first strike, so giving them death touch is perfect and also more card draw. Also includes back in town to instantly reload after a board wipe. I also included a couple more one sided board wipes- cyc rift, kindred dominance, ruinous ultimatum along with desync should work out great in our favor. I agree that haste is sorely missing on a lot of the creatures so I also included rhythm of the wild.

Great video! I do count the ACR secret lair cards as ACR "themed" cards. Not sure if you had any suggestions or a new moxfeild link using both SLD cards?

I built my version of this deck and it is definitely a lot of fun and very flavourful. Ive gone with max raritying it and i have had no regrets!

if you want a fast insta-win combo, i suggest adding Ramses. Assassin Lord. have both him and ezio on the field, swing ezio at an opponent who will have 10 or less life after combat damage, activate his wubrg ability to insta-kill them, thus triggering Ramses's ability for cheap easy win.

I'm so glad someone else loves flavor as much as I do. Hell I even made a super Friends Planeswalker deck but only used gate watch/good Planeswalker

Whenever there is a UB release, I keep everything in world for my commander decks. LOTR decks only have any of the LOTR cards while 40K, Fallout and Dr.Who decks stayed pure. Same went for AC, but also used cards from the AC Secret Lairs. My only slight disappointment is exactly what you said at the start that the set didn’t include many mana fixing,ramp spells, or mana rocks.

I hope they print more cards to go with the set.

Played this deck in my pod. Everyone agreed that Ezio adds another constant variable to the game. They dont want to be too close to 40 life because then they are a target, and they dont want to be close to 13 life or lower, due to Ezio's assassination. Its fun for sure

will you add the reprints from the SLD ?
